Disclaimer this review is only based on a carry out lunch order. They do deliver but when they had a hour long wait I decided it would be better to pick it up. I ordered the lunch special of chicken lo mein, that came with a spring roll and a can of soda. They allowed me to pay via the phone when I ordered. When I arrived my order was not ready so I used the restroom while I waited. By the time I came back it was ready. Food was delicious. I frequently order from here while I am at work and I need a quick lunch option. Staff is always friendly. I have been meaning to come and dine in one day.

Service was excellent. Since I'm kicking a cold I ordered hot tea, wonton soup, and General Tso's chicken. I was sweating before I was halfway through the chicken. Perfect balance of spiciness to sweetness, and it was lightly battered. Excellent!

Excellent service and food. I ordered the Walnut Shrimp. It's served with white rice, but I requested fried rice (not pictured) for I believe an extra $1.50. Very good! The shrimp were huge and flavored nicely. Plenty of broccoli and toasted walnuts. Casual vibes and it was fairly quiet.

Been awhile so I thought it was time to update my previous review. I'm happy to report that East Moon is still a top choice for me in the Ellicott City/Columbia area when it comes to great places to eat. The staff treats me like family and the food portions are generous, flavorful, and fresh. I've been coming here since they opened many years ago and I can always count on them when I need a fair priced, tasty meal without a lot of hassle. I can't say enough good about the people who run East Moon, everyone is kind and beyond friendly. Even recently I was offered freshly brewed, hot tea and a bowl of egg drop soup while I waited for my order as I was just getting over a cold. You don't find that sort of care nor attention to detail in most restaurants, which is unfortunate. East Moon gets a solid 5/5 stars from me. If you haven't given them a try yet, do it! If you've gone and had an occasional off experience, it's definitely a fluke. I had to laugh when I read some of the reviews about them, opinions like "I just thought the noodles were not the flavor I like" etc. and some folks leave less than honest reviews. No one is going to like every single dish at every place they go to eat. That's expected. But one thing you can be sure of is that while East Moon isn't perfect, they do a wonderful job and always make it a point to take any feedback with understanding and a willingness to improve if necessary. I've rarely had to give food feedback that was less than great in MANY years dining there. Simply out, it's a top place to eat, the food is largely delicious, they're clean, and the staff is simply AMAZING! So what are you waiting for? See you there!

Summary: ordered delivery directly from their website and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price and portion sizes of everything we got. The delivery service was very reasonably priced (vs. third party services like doordash, grubhub, etc) and the food arrived really well packaged. Everything was packed to the brim. The food was good for the most part, but there were some aspects that could've made it better. The chicken teriyaki meat was a little bit tough and the pad see lew tasted a bit bland at some parts. All in all, it was still a very solid meal!

I had a great time for lunch the other day! The food was fresh and delicious- They had a huge selection- noodles, sushi! The staff was attentive and we got water right when we sat down. The restaurant was painted dark but had a lot of light coming in! It was a relaxed vibe for sure

Really cute spot in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Came for lunch with a co-worker and really enjoyed my experience. The menu is pretty large and offers many different Asian dishes. There's a great Thai, sushi, and Chinese selections. I went with the crab rangoons, coconut chicken soup, and green tie curry with chicken. The rangoons are some of the best. I've had creamy and crispy. The soup was kind of a miss and can use some more flavor. The green curry was really good and I would try it again! Service was friendly and prompt and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We had a very enjoyable dinner here.the servers were attentive and the food was served piping hot, fresh. My suggestions are the pot stickers, the orange chicken and Szechuan beef. The sauces are heavy and somewhat sweet though. Not bad at all. The restaurant was clean.
